During my engineering work days, I remember we have had Intelligence Building & Factory Automations, even Smart home. We have the Chillers, Condensers, AHU units and lifts and lighting all linked up to a computer centralized system. Monitoring and Sensing chilled water, condenser water and air temperature and volumes for the building to optimize energy usage and comfort and conveniences. That was achievable then if you can afford it.
Today than ever before all these now becomes a realities in IoT and INDUSTRY 4, thanks to the quantum leap of Computer Processing Power, OSes and modern internet (CLOUD) ready Applications Software and of course CONNECTIVITY.
